Objective
Design a small IT/OT lab that shows network segmentation, controlled traffic flow, firewall rules, and safe monitoring between business and industrial-style systems.
Planned work
Create IT, OT, and DMZ networks; deploy pfSense; add OpenPLC or a Modbus simulator; configure allow-list firewall rules; and capture permitted/blocked traffic.
Skills to demonstrate
Segmentation, firewall policy design, Modbus awareness, Windows/OT coexistence, network monitoring, and risk-based documentation.
